Customized Prie Dieu
Custom Hardwood
Our customized Prie Dieu are available in red oak, poplar, and upon request we may have access to other hardwoods such as white oak, cherry, maple, walnut, and African mahogany. Red oak is a durable, long lasting hardwood commonly used in furniture. Poplar is lighter than red oak and is subject to more indentations than red oak, but makes for a beautiful Prie Dieu.
Custom Designs, Patterns, and Finishes
Our Prie Dieu can have designs cut out on the sides of the Prie Dieu. It can be customized with a Cross engraved on the front of the Prie Dieu, or have a cross attached to the top of the bottom rail in the front. We use all-natural shellac to finish our Prie Dieu, in colors ranging from blonde to garnet, but can use other finishes at a client's request.
Custom Vinyl Covering and Thick Cushioning
The kneeling portion of our custom Prie Dieu can be covered with a durable vinyl covering in a variety of colors. When covered, our Prie Dieu has a 3-inch foam padding with a layer of batting on top of the foam for a comfortable feel. The kneeling portion may also be left as wood and will match the rest of the Prie Dieu.
